Circular economy in the built environment

Circular economy in the built environment has not been a focal point of architects in the past as factors such as timing, schedule and budget requirements. As we know, the circular economy model aims to redefine growth, focusing on positive society-wide benefits. It even developed the sustainable design model based on less material usage, recyclability and technical and aesthetic durability principles.
We interviewed Kåre Stokholm Poulsgaard Head of Innovation at 3XN/GXN., J. Mayer H. und Partner Architekten, Sascha Glasl, founder of Space&MatterKristian Steele, member of the Advanced Technology and Research group at ARUP, Anders Lendager founder of Lendager Group.

Educational tour dedicated to eco-design and sustainable architecture in Madrid

In collaboration with Valcucine, the renowned Italian innovative and sustainable kitchen manufacturer, on Tuesday November 15th we held an architectural educational tour in Madrid dedicated to eco-design and sustainable architecture. We had the chance to visit some of the most renowned architecture and interior design firms in Spain such as Rafael de la HozMorph Estudio and Cuarto Interior.
