> Visiting Valcucine and Rexa Design with Claudia Silvestre

This week we had the pleasure to guide architect Claudia Silvestre, founder of Formus, into the inspiring world of two of the Italian design brands that partner with us: Valcucine and Rexa Design.

Formus (movelaria + arte) is a “concept showroom” in Balneário Camboriú in Brasil, an artistic space, a place to meet. With creative spirit, culture of excellence, appreciation for the quality and the experience of beauty, they build their day to day. Their main purpose is to inspire the connection between people and their homes.

There is no better place than Valcucine that can satisfy her need to be inspired, her need to deeply understand and experience beauty. During our 4 hours visit we had the honor to meet Mr. Gabriele Centazzo, the Valcucine founder that hosted us in his studio/office to share some glimpses of his philosophy. He talked about observation, environment, freedom, ergonomics and his shy charm completely involved us.

Than we had the pleasure to be guided through Valcucine by Massimo Peloso, one of the trainers, the senior one. His knowledge and empathy exited us visiting the garden, the factory, the arte workshop, the laboratory, the showroom and the Accademia.

After a quick lunch in the Valcucine restaurant where they host dealers, partners and guests, we headed to Rexa Design.

Rexa Design is an emerging bathroom brand immersed in nature in the countryside near Pordenone. It is here that Rexa Design has found the ideal environment to develop their core design principles: abstraction, ergonomics, flexibility, geometry, intimacy and resilience; and translate their creative ideas into a specialized line of innovative bathroom furniture and sanitary ware.

Roberto Pusiol, the Export Sales Manager, explained us all the manufacturing process of a their products, from the logistic of the warehouse to the smoothing of the tubs.
