This edition reflects the culmination of a visionary journey, where evolution and innovation stand as the pillars guiding the Salone del Mobile.Milano into uncharted territory. The 2024 edition is set to host over 1,900 exhibitors, including 600 young talents and 22 design schools. EuroCucina‘s 24th edition is set to redefine design trends, breaking away from tradition with exhibitors in Pavilions 2 and 4. Kitchens are reclaiming their central role, reflecting values of conviviality, well-being, and sustainability. The island takes center stage, becoming larger and more versatile, accommodating various activities. Pop-out and walk-in kitchens are making a comeback for a clean, discreet look.The outdoor kitchen trend gains momentum, emphasizing versatility and quality materials. A natural aesthetic prevails, using stone, granite, quartz, and marble, as well as sustainable materials like bamboo and rattan. Tactile elements, softer shapes, and nature-inspired color palettes define the kitchen space. Stainless steel makes a return for its durability and hygiene.

Sustainability remains a key focus in 2024, with a commitment to low carbon footprint production and durable solutions. The kitchen is no longer just a functional space but a sophisticated and environmentally conscious hub in the modern home. The exhibiting companies this year will include Veneta Cucine, Scavolini, Nobilia, Cucine Lube, Vipp kitchens, Stosa, Aran Cucine, Leicht, Eggersmann, Haecker, Binova, BSH (with the Bosch-Siemens brands), Beko, Whirlpool, Samsung, LG, Candy, Miele, Smeg, Snaidero.

Bathrooms are undergoing a constant evolution, transforming into versatile spaces that go beyond their traditional functions. The 2024 International Bathroom Exhibition in Pavilions 6 and 10, from April 16th to 21st, showcases this evolution with a focus on materials, including wood, steel, glass, natural stone, and more. The exhibition explores the integration of new functions and technological components aimed at enhancing the quality of life and turning the bathroom into a space dedicated to well-being and relaxation. Pavilions 6 and 10 will be hosting companies such as Fratelli Fantini, Roca, Laufen, Vismaravetro, Tubes Radiatori, Ceramica Cielo, Kohler and Novello, amongst the others.

Other main kitchen and bathroom players such as Valcucine, Boffi, Agape, Antonio Lupi and Laufen are showcasing in Brera Design District.

A notable collaboration with the Department and School of Design at Politecnico di Milano University aims to study the Salone as an ecosystem, delving into its socio-economic impact on the region. Celebrating the 25th anniversary of SaloneSatellite adds another layer of richness, with an exhibition at Triennale Milano featuring a Wunderkammer of objects, prototypes, sketches, stories, images, and testimonials.

In Rho, the 25th edition of SaloneSatellite, the most authoritative event in “young” design, wi/1 be taking piace in Pavilions 5 and 7 at Rho Fiera Milano from 16th to 21st Aprii, providing an opportunity for interface and discussion between budding talents and leading ltalian and foreign companies who see the event as a unique opportunity for a glimpse of the developments of future design.
