We have been at 2019, the leading global event for the natural stone industry. What you can find there is everything you need around the “marble world”: the entire supply chain, from raw material to semifinished and finished products, from processing machinery and technologies to applications of stone in and design.

Visiting the Marmomacc 2019, we asked ourselves what do we really expect from a trade fair today, or generally speaking, from business relations?
You can say quality, range, price, services…

During our educational tours as during a trade fair visit, we get around looking always for an experience. Experience in terms of atmosphere, values, representation of companies culture, appearance, differentiation…

The companies at that impressed us the most are the ones that have been capable to differentiate themselves from all the others, the ones capable of conveying their values and image even ahead of the product itself:

Antolini attended at Marmomac 2019 with an installation designed by Alessandro la Spada, an exhibition space capable of capturing and seducing the visitor with its reflections, colors and striking backdrops. A plushy representation of one of the leading companies of this industry.

Cereser, in line with its philosophy based on relations and care, proposed a real restaurant of home made pasta. A place where customers were invited to interact. A please to experience the care and precision applied to produce “tortellini”. A paralellism with their own way of acting at every stage of the work process of marble and natural stone.

The Lavagnoli stand, designed by architect Fabiana Cervelin, undoubtedly follows the company path towards the architecture world. The didactic representation of their recent collaborations with renowned architecture practice Studio Marco Piva and designers studio Calvi Brambilla (both presented comprehensively at the Italian Stone Theatre) was elegant and exhaustive.

Pibamarmi presented the installation Sound of Marble, signed by Tsuyoshi Tane, one of the most interesting names in the new Japanese architecture. The concept of the exhibition space is based on the interaction between marble, sound and light and is part of the architect's methodology-manifesto identified by the motto “Archaeology of the future”.

Porfido Predetti keeps on representing their collaboration with architect Claudio Silvestrin. After their collaboration for one of the most beautiful restaurants in London, the Oblix, Marmomac 2019 was the occasion to present the kitchen realized for Minotticucine.

Santamargherita, always attentive to new trends in architecture and interior design, presented its surfaces with creativity and eclecticism. Instead of a mere display of materials, they have interpreted a modern and stylish showroom like the ones you can find in the most fashionable neighborhoods all over the World.

Testi is one of the main Italian producers in the natural stone industry. Their stand at Marmomac 2019 was the most, and probably the sole, aligned with the Italian design exhibitions trends already seen at Salone del Mobile and Cersaie. Their realizations were exposed in a pleasant atmosphere designed by pink pastel vaults.

Winner of the Best Communicator Award at Marmomac the stand of Trambisera Marmi couldn't miss amongst our “Best of”. A stylish representation of their quarries through a selection of black and white photographies inside a modern black space supported by a semi-rough marble column.
