Many of their projects are within schemes involving major urban regeneration, refurbishment of historic buildings or low energy designs.

Established as a design-led studio 40 years ago the practice has remained true to its core values of humanity and sustainability during a period of steady growth to over 100 strong today. As one of the first architectural practices to form an employee owned trust Jestico + Whiles has always been at the forefront of working practice innovation and employee well-being.

Their creative hub is based in Sutton Yard, the heart of , one of London's most vibrant, characterful, unique and well-connected neighbourhoods. This workplace is designed to promote collaborative and innovative ways of working in a flexible and inspiring grouping of studios which envelope a shared communal space – our town square. The building hosting the practice is a light-filled and elegant upgrade of a concrete and brick 1960s office building.

The existing plan form, with three distinct wings centred around an open central space, enabled the arrangement of three working studios, with a flexible ‘town square' at their heart used for meeting, eating, collaborating and presenting, as well as for hosting events. The kitchen area together with a ‘working wall' that accommodates a range of uses, and multiple touchdown areas, encourages more interaction amongst the team.

Their headquarter is a flexible workplace transformed into a showcase of their shared vision for the future, which relies on collaboration, flexibility, and a desire to promote excellent design and an inspirational working life.
