The energy consumption of buildings is responsible for almost 40% of CO2 emissions worldwide. Klimahouse 2020 plays a pioneering role in the diffusion of technologies and innovations to achieve the desired climate protection objectives.  Klimahouse's strategic location at the heart of the Alps makes it the perfect meeting point for companies to exchange ideas, innovations and insights on the latest trends on energy-efficient and sustainable construction.

Alongside the large offer of more than 450 exhibitors at Klimahouse 2020, for all those who believe in building well to live well, there's even a huge programme of conferences which will feature a mixture of panel discussions, keynote lectures and short presentations with keynote speakers and leading architects such as Reinier de Graaf, OMA, Armand Paardekooper Overmars, , and Jürgen Bartenschlag, Sauerbruchhutton, amongst the others.

The Klimahouse 2020 congress, starting on Wednesday 22nd from one of the oldest and most modern construction materials at the same time: wood. Take advantage of its peculiar qualities and mitigate its problems through the careful exploitation of opportunities and technological knowledge unthinkable until recently: all this makes wood a material with an almost unlimited potential.
